TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND CONNECTIVITY EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Connoisseur of the problems of the Province of Loja and especially in the field
of telecommunications, I thought it pertinent to carry out this thesis project to which
I have called it “INTEGRAL CONNECTIVITY SOLUTION AND
TELECOMMUNICATIONS (SICT) ”, with the sole objective of being able to reach the
sectors farther away, and abandoned this is its parishes, and cantons.
For this purpose I have managed to integrate the largest and most serious manufacturers into
technology to offer services such as: safe city, video surveillance,
cable television (IPTV), video conferencing, telephony, Internet, among others
Present the best solution in connectivity and telecommunications.

I have presented this project to the Provincial Government of the Province of Loja,
who has shown interest and has committed to execute it in 2010,
for which you have already considered it within the budget allocated for the
next year.
This requires the interaction of several components among other technicians,
legal, and economic-financial; thus constituting a serious proposal for the
provincial government

The first transatlantic telephone cable to use optical fiber

The first transatlantic telephone cable to use optical fiber was TAT-8, based on Desurvire optimised laser amplification technology. It went into operation in 1988. Third-generation fiber-optic systems operated at 1.55 μm and had losses of about 0.2 dB/km. This development was spurred by the discovery of Indium gallium arsenide and the development of the Indium Gallium Arsenide photodiode by Pearsall.
