Telkom obtained a fiber optic technician competency certificate license

In order to improve the quality of its human resources, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom) has established the Telkom PCC certification body.

By developing its mission to become a professional certification body with international standards that excels in the regional scope, Telkom PCC carries out its duties as a Center of Certification for employees in the environment. Telkom Group and the public.

To carry out this mission, Telkom PCC has become a nationally recognized TPCC Professional Certification Agency (LSP TPCC) through the National Professional Certification Board. On September 16, 2013, LSP TPCC obtained license No. Kep.367 / BNSP / IX / 2013 for the competency certification of Fiber Optic Installation Techniques (TIFO).

As a pioneer for the certification of the TIFO field, Telkom has shown its contribution in supporting the readiness of the Indonesian people to face the 2015 Asean Economic Community.

The certificate was handed over by Telkom's Director of Human Capital Management Priyantono Rudito.
Priyantono Rudito said the TIFO certification was very beneficial for the workforce technician-level with competency areas in the field of indoor and outdoor fiber optics inland areas. "This will encourage improvement in the quality of human resources, especially technicians," he said, in a press release, Saturday (7/12).

The certified competency units include the application of occupational health, safety and safety (K3) procedures, the application of knowledge about fiber optic terms, the application of knowledge about the types of fiber optic cables; power meter, optical fiber connection with fusion splicer, and Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) operation.

For the implementation of the certification process, LSP-TPCC works closely with a number of SMKs throughout Indonesia with the function as a place for competency testing (TUK).
Total TUK until now consists of eight pieces that include five pieces that have been verified (Medan, Jakarta, Purwokerto, Malang, and Makassar ), two are in the process of verification (Aceh and Klaten) and 1 in the submission for verification (Banjarbaru). TUK that can carry out the certification process is TUK that has been verified by LSP TPCC.

Until the end of November 2013, the number of participants who had been certified was 135 people (mostly students or vocational graduates) who would later and had worked in the telecommunications industry within the Telkom Group and Telkom Ecosystem.

What Are Backlinks?

Backlinks (also known as “inbound links”, “incoming links” or “one way links”) are links from one website to a page on another website. Google and other major search engines consider backlinks “votes” for a specific page. Pages with a high number of backlinks tend to have high organic search engine rankings. https://plus.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com%2F https://plus.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.honeywebsolutions.com%2F https://plus.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com%2F https://www.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com%2F https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&url=http%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&url=https%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com%2F https://maps.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com%2F https://maps.google.com/url?sa=t&url=http%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com https://images.google.de/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fhoneywebsolutions.com%2F https://maps.google.de/u...

The first transatlantic telephone cable to use optical fiber

The first transatlantic telephone cable to use optical fiber was TAT-8, based on Desurvire optimised laser amplification technology. It went into operation in 1988. Third-generation fiber-optic systems operated at 1.55 μm and had losses of about 0.2 dB/km. This development was spurred by the discovery of Indium gallium arsenide and the development of the Indium Gallium Arsenide photodiode by Pearsall. Engineers overcame earlier difficulties with pulse-spreading at that wavelength using conventional InGaAsP semiconductor lasers. Scientists overcame this difficulty by using dispersion-shifted fibers designed to have minimal dispersion at 1.55 μm or by limiting the laser spectrum to a single longitudinal mode. These developments eventually allowed third-generation systems to operate commercially at 2.5 Gbit/s with repeater spacing in excess of 100 km (62 mi). fiber optic technician certification The fourth generation of fiber-optic communication systems used optical amplification to ...

Fiber optic communications Internet

Fiber optic communications Internet The fiber-optic Internet connection service breaks down the greatest limitation of cyberspace: its exasperating slowness. The purpose of the following article is to describe the mechanism of action, advantages and its disadvantages. To navigate the worldwide network of networks, the Internet, not only a computer, a modem and some programs are needed, but also a large dose of patience. The cyberspace is a slow world to despair. A user can spend several minutes waiting for a page to load or several hours trying to download a program from the Network to their PC. This is because the telephone lines, the means used by the majority of the 50 million users to connect to the Internet, were not created to transport videos, graphics, texts and all other elements that travel from one place to another on the Net. But telephone lines are not the only way to cyberspace. Recently a service allows you to connect to the Internet through fiber optics. The o...
